Specifying ACA Large Employer Information

To set ACA large employer reporting information in PrismHR:

1. Make sure you see the correct client record and name near the top of the form. If not, click on the client name and select the correct client.
1. Open the Client menu.
2. Under Client|Change, select Client Details.
3. Select the Benefits tab.

Then, for each year:

4. Enter the Year.
5. Indicate whether the client qualifies as an ACA Large Employer according to the IRS definition. If you do not select a value, the system defaults to No.
6. Indicate whether to Show in ESS (this determines whether or not employees can see their 1095-C information in Employee Portal (EP)). You should do this for a reporting year once you have built the registers and confirmed that the information is complete. If you do not select an option, the system defaults to No.
7. In the 1095 Employer field, indicate whether the system should use the employer name and address from Form 1094-C or the Employer Master/Employer Details record. These values populate in the Applicable Large Employer Member fields on the Form 1095-C.
8. Click Save.
