Working with Auto Holiday Pay Days

You can use the Auto Holiday Pay Days form to define which days apply to employee holiday time. For example:

Note: Access this form by selecting the Days link on the Auto Holiday Pay form. (See Adding Auto Holiday Pay.)

To set up employee holiday days:

1. Enter the Year where you want to apply the holiday.
2. Click the Holiday Dates grid to select a date from the calendar.
3. Click Save.

Note the following:

You can enter or select holidays up to ten years in the past or ten years in the future from the current year (defaults to the current year). You can enter or select holidays up to ten years in the past or one year in the future (defaults to the current year). (Note: If you enter a date that does not meet this criteria an error message displays, "The following date(s) are not in the year selected and will be removed <date>." Click OK to continue.)
If you add or delete a date that occurs in an in-process payroll, you need to recalculate the payroll to apply or remove that date.
If you try to delete an override date by clicking the X next to the date in the Holiday Dates panel a warning displays, "All overrides for this date will be deleted." Click Yes to continue.
The system tracks date changes made in this form in the audit log.
